The Artist: Caroline Gold

Born in London in 1955 Caroline Gold was educated at Chelsea School of Art. After a postgraduate degree in European Film studies, she went on to produce short films for cinema and award winning drama for BBC television. Although this was rewarding and fun, films and drama were about the creativity of others rather than her own and eventually, Caroline decided to reassert herself with a career swap. In 1998, Caroline started painting full time, and received numerous commissions for fine art greetings cards, children’s’ books, CD and book covers and has recently concentrated on painting images suitable for the fine art print market. She sells her original oil and watercolor paintings at the Clairmonte Gallery in Brighton, the Royal Society for Watercolor Painters at the Mall Galleries, and The Angel Gallery in London.
