The Artist: Connie Geerts

Connie Geerts was born in 1965, and grew up the youngest of six on a farm in Ontario, Canada. She has drawn and painted for as long as she can remember and started her professional art career immediately following high school, moving through a number of artistic styles and mediums before falling in love with acrylics. Since 1990, she’s been creating bright, colorful paintings that express a cheerful sense of fun. “Warhol meets Van Gogh”, is one way Connie describes her sense of style and color choices. At the moment, Connie lives with her significant other, two cats and a fish.
