Subtle textures, a palette inspired by nature, and a keen awareness of the value of negative space are recurring elements in the works of Florida native Linda Brantley. Through a deliberate juxtaposition of varied mediums, she incorporates strong elements of design with organic themes to create her images. Exhibiting a natural artistic talent at an early age, Linda pursued a formal training in art, receiving her B. A. in 1990 from the University of West Florida. Despite her degree in Art Education, Linda preferred a career in picture framing and design. It is her unique ability to combine the knowledge of both fields that enables Linda to create strong designs with an elegant simplicity. Her works can be found in both private and corporate collections throughout the United States.
