The Artist: Maureen Ellis
Mo Ellis was born and raised in Gwynedd, Wales. Upon leaving high school, she continued her studies at the Camberwell School of Art, training in fine art and subsequently working as a self-employed artist and printmaker in the west of England. Her bright, lively paintings have attracted a lot of interest whenever they were exhibited in galleries throughout the country. Mo is currently in the process of converting an old mill into a studio and gallery where she plans to teach art and printmaking, making full use of the beautiful walled garden for inspiration. She, her partner and her “Labrador” live in a traditional English country cottage surrounded by two acres of garden.
