A.F. De Prades

Biography

Very little is knows of the life of artist Antonio F De Prades other than the fact that he flourished as an artist from 1844 until 1886. It is thought that he was probably the brother of painters Alfred P and Frank De Prades who was famous for his full length paintings of Lord and Lady Cardigan which can be seen at Deene Park in Northamptonshire.

De Prades was as excellent painter and specialised in sporting subjects with his collection including several scenes from the Derby and its winners.
