Simplicity

To admire Marthe’s canvases is to accept simple happiness, that of the artist in front of her canvas, allowing colour to invade her space without anything hindering her progress. Her flowers, resplendent in red, blue and green, are like a light veil that flatters the eye and briefly brushes against the honest and spontaneous soul slumbering within us. Marthe work asks only one thing of us: to be ourselves.
