Mark Davenport

Biography

Born and raised in Hobart, Indiana, Mark currently resides in India where he spent many of his earlier years. He now calls this sub-continent his home and does not plan to return to the United States. While Mark studied briefly at Indiana State University and under professional tutelage of artist Dennis Thumin, he credits his creativity and skill to the individuals he has met on his Indian excursions. He has received acclaim in Bangkok, Tokyo, Constantinople and continues his homebound repute in Chicago.
