Jason Basil

Biography

For Jason Basil art seems to have chosen him. An early scholarship helped drive his zeal which led to studies at the Art Students League in New York. He has travelled extensively and uses many of these newly discovered subjects in his paintings. His style continues to develop with the expressive use of traditional drawing and painting although digital media has recently become a new source of inspiration. He says of his artwork: "For me, the most meaningful imagery concurs with the dreams and hopes of everyone with a passion for life. I have never really had a problem selling my art."
