Pawel Winczewski

Biography

Pawel Winczewski is a self-taught artist, born in Poland, who now lives and works in Melbourne, Australia. His main medium is digital photography graphics, however he enjoys collaborating with a variety of visual arts techiques, from drawing, painting and inking to digital etching. His affinity with the arts began with an early interest in architecture, interior design, deco and photography. In the early 90s, he started to work as a photographer which eventually led him to start his own photography business. His inspiration comes from everything around him and he is intrigued by the endless possibilities of nature’s subjects, forms, shapes, colors, patterns and aesthetics. After selling his first work, he realized that his dream was to become a professional artist. He publishes his work in various forms including large format photographic prints, limited edition prints, open edition posters, greeting cards, postcards and calendars.
