After graduating from the national education system, she spent several years teaching Italian before dedicating herself fully to painting, her passion.
All the while, she travelled extensively in the company of her husband and their three children, accumulating a treasure trove of colours and impressions that was to become the source of her future work.
The paintings of R. Pivier Attolini open a window on a world of vivid colors, warmth and vitality. One sees reflected in that world the flavors and ochre tones of the Provence countryside, as well the impressions the artist has gleaned in her travels.
Her art evolved in the plastic art workshops of Martigues. Itself a veritable school for graphic artists, that city gave her, without asking anything in return, a mode of expression defined by a certain spontaneity in language and gesture which is key to the seeming lack of structure in subjects and compositions. Thus a precise rhythm is born that nevertheless leaves her total freedom to explore, within the confines of the black-bordered canvas, all the subtleties of an intimate scene or a still life.
