Biography

David Harris’ work is a synthesis of both his interest in abstract forms and man’s impact on exotic areas, influenced by his extensive travels in desert and tropical areas throughout the world. In this "Palm" series, Harris’ depiction of these exotic symbols, together with architectural abstract elements, creates something new and unique.

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Harris has enjoyed a prolific career, painting both realistic subjects and abstraction. His work has been featured in many solo exhibits, group shows and museum exhibits. His murals grace significant homes and businesses worldwide. As an artist and muralist, Mr. Harris has executed a broad range of commissions that demonstrate his diversity of interests and skills.
