Art Prints

We offer open edition prints from some of the world's leading publishers. These high quality prints, covering a wide range of subjects and styles (including abstracts, landscapes, florals and figurative) are sourced from prestigious and emerging contemporary artists and photographers, exclusive private collections and world renowned art galleries and museums and are reproduced to the highest quality on fine art paper.

Fine Art Prints

We supply museum quality fine art prints. Our prints are produced using Giclée, lithographic or serigraphic printing processes and are printed on high quality archival acid free paper. All of our Art on Demand prints are produced on a specialist textured artist paper that weighs 230gsm or higher. Our supplier has developed this paper to exacting methods using a small, traditional British mill. The quality of this paper, when combined with our inks, ensures our finished prints are highly durable and reproduce the tones and colours of the original painting as faithfully as possible.

Giclée is a French term meaning "spray of ink". This process utilises a revolutionary new technique whereby a continuous inkjet printer sprays a staggering four million droplets of ink per second onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. Requiring highly sophisticated printers and specially tested colourfast inks, this blend of fine art and state-of-the-art technology produces exceptionally good reproductions. The printing process provides better colour accuracy than other means of reproduction. The quality of the Giclée print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatine printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.

Giclée print render deep, saturated colour and retain minute detail, subtle tints and blends. The prints may be hand embellished by the artist using paint, ink and gold foil stamping for a mixed media effect. Archival prints have 100 – 200 years fade resistance. They are the closest to the real thing, affordable, high quality art for the home or office!

Edition Types

Open Editions

An open edition is term used for any prints that are printed under license onto a variety of mediums – paper, canvas, Perspex etc. The print run is not limited. An Open edition series cannot become a limited edition and Open Editions cannot become Limited Editions.

Limited Editions

A limited edition is an exclusive print run, approved and signed by the artist, printed to the highest standards. Limited editions offer art collectors the advantage of buying works of art at affordable prices yet they are also collectable. Prints are available from small runs of 195 to 950, in a worldwide edition. The overall edition can also be split between 2 sizes and formats, usually on paper or canvas.
