Prints on CanvasCanvas transfer - Prints on Paper mounted on Canvas (Box Canvas ready to hang)Canvas transfer prints involve mounting a pre-published print or poster image onto a canvas surface through the application of heat. The poster or paper print is covered in a layer of textured film that lifts the image from the paper and this film is then heat-sealed onto the surface of the canvas. A protective coating is put on top and this is then placed in a specialised heated vacuum press to ensure the image forms a permanent bond with the canvas. When the transfer process has been completed, the canvas is stretched around a wooden framework so that it is ready-to-hang. For more information, please contact us. Giclée Box Canvas Prints (Box Canvas ready to hang)Our canvases have been specially designed and developed for Fine Art digital printing. Each is produced to order on a specially formulated synthetic canvas material that maximises the print quality through fine definition and maximises the longevity of the colour. We have chosen a very fine mesh synthetic material that is ideally suited to the detail required for this type of print. We believe the material is much more stable than a natural fibre, and much finer. The material is stretched over a solid 2" pine stretcher frame and for additional strength and security just below the fabric we affix a 3mm sheet of MDF. This protects the surface of the print and ensures that the frame remains rigid so that it won't twist. For more information, please contact us. |
